Survey Result : Financial Problem for college student in TARC

Rental Problem

This survey was done by our team member:
Lee Her Shin












Mostly this survey was taking placed in TARC and only 1 from Taylor’s College.
Total people had done surveyed : 11

Questionnaire:
“Do you feel rent room will cause your financial problem?  Give some solutions that support your answers.”

From Christina, DAC of SBS, year 2
She answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. She was giving some solution that will support her such as: less entertainment in free times and she suggested share room with friends can solve her financial problem.

From  Chong, AEL of SOT, year 1
He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: share rooms with friends, use less facilities liked air-cond. He also suggested students do many surveys before rent room.

From Lucas, AEL of SOT, year 1
He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: lower requirement in term of living quality and share room.

From Chong, AEL of SOT, year 1
He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: find another room with lower rental fees, choose the smaller room, seek for cheaper rent via friend or relatives instead of agent.

From Yang, DQS of SOT, year 1
He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: share room with friends and house. He suggested that owner should lower down the rental fees.

From Lim, DIB of SAS, year 1
He answered “ No ” for rental problem which will not caused his financial problem because he no need to worry about his financial.

He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: share room with friends, make a contract to protect student rental fees so that the fees will not rise if the house cost rise by government.  He also suggested having student price for rental.

From Yoo, DQS of SOT, year 1
He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: share room with friends, house owner should lower down the rental fees for student; college should provide low rental fees of hostel for new student. He also suggests that government should lower down the houses cost and houses tax.

From Goh, SBS, year 2
He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: rent a lower rental which is near to school, find a girl/boy friend and stayed with her/him.

From Wong, AEL of SOT, year 1
He answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. He was giving some solution that will support him such as: share room with friends but living space will become limited, rent at further place instead of nearby educational area then rent fees will reduced but travelling time will increased. He also suggest hostel should be provided by college or university as students are coming from further country or state who difficulty to found a suitable living place to rent. He also suggest buy a house nearby to rent to others which can gain income while cover the rent.

From Tan, A level of Taylor’s College, year 1
She answered “ Yes ” for rental problem. She was giving some solution that will support her such as: rental fees higher then cost of living higher, school should provide more hostels. She also suggests share room with best friends and asked house owner to lower down rental fees.

Analysis result after surveying

I,Lee Her Shin one of team member who had analysed that majority student from Tunku Abdul Rahman College who are different course with different gender and 1 student from Taylor’s College are facing financial problem for their rental fees. They are volunteer and friendly who were giving us their information based on own opinions and knowledge. Mostly, they supported and agreed with the statement of ‘Share room’ which are possible to solve their rental fees of financial problem in college or university study’s life.















This above bar chart is showing an simple and clear analysis of survey result on rental problem which influenced student’s financial.
